Top Ten PC Games
Top Ten PC Games
Keep in mind this is my list of top ten pc games so if you disagree with any of it then, tough!
10.
Earl Weaver Baseball
I spent countless hours in a hot sticky room with a bunch of hot sticky boys drafting and letting the computer auto play to see who was champion. Who here can remember “Earl’s got Dennis Eckersley throwing in the pen”?
9.
Grand Theft Auto 3
While not a great game it certainly provided me and my friends with countless hours of entertainment. We had all of us edited into the game with full audio and full faces, it was great.
8.
Age of Empires 2
I have no idea how many hours I put into playing this game with my brothers. Trying to win with a food and wood army against a gold army was always a blast.
7.
Ultima 4
Oh how I miss the four 5 1/4″ floppy disks, swapping them out in my pimp Commodore 64. This game is a classic.
6.
Half-Life
The original Half Life was amazing. This game has a special place in my heart because I bought it and the bought my first 3d video card because of it. The Voodoo 2. I never looked back.
5.
Doom
Wow, what can I say? This game was all kinds of awesome. I remember playing this on my roommates super fast pentium 55 with a 4 x cd-rom! That thing made my Amiga 500 look like a turd. I also played this on my ps1 on a gigantic 27″ tv connected to a tuner with the sound cranked and the lights turned off.
4.
Wizardry 6
Bane of the Cosmic Forge is one of my favorite RPG games. I loved the way skills would increase as you used them. When I originally played the game I did so on the Amiga, I later bought the complete Wizardry pack and finished it again.
